  • 1 egg

For the Lasagna:

  • 12 oz gluten-free or regular lasagna noodles (cook according to package instructions)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (for layering and topping)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Extra Lasagna Love seasoning for sprinkling on top

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Smoker:
    • Set your smoker to 225°F for low and slow smoking.
  2. Smoke the Meat:
    • In a smoker-safe skillet, add the ground beef or wild game.
    • Season the meat with Da Burger Bomb and Lasagna Love seasonings, mixing well to evenly coat.
    • Place the skillet in the smoker and smoke for 1-1.5 hours, or until the meat is fully cooked and has absorbed a smoky flavor.
    • Once cooked, remove from the smoker and stir in the marinara sauce, mixing well. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Ricotta Mixture:
    • In a medium bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, egg, and 1 tbsp Lasagna Love seasoning.
    • Mix until well blended and set aside.
  4. Assemble the 7-Layer Lasagna:
    • Preheat the smoker (or oven) to 350°F.
    • In a large baking pan, start with a thin layer of the meat sauce at the bottom.
    • Add a layer of lasagna noodles over the meat sauce.
    • Spread a layer of the ricotta mixture on top of the noodles.
    • Place a layer of fresh spinach leaves over the ricotta mixture.
    • Add another layer of meat sauce, then noodles, and repeat the layers (meat sauce, ricotta mixture, spinach, noodles).
    • Continue layering until you reach the top, ending with a final layer of noodles, a generous layer of meat sauce, and a thick layer of shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Top and Season:
    • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese (if using) and an extra sprinkle of Lasagna Love seasoning on the top layer of mozzarella cheese for added flavor.
  6. Smoke the Lasagna:
    • Place the assembled lasagna back in the smoker (or in the oven) and smoke at 350°F for 45-60 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden on top.
  7. Serve:
    • Remove the lasagna from the smoker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
